What To Consider When Using The RGB Laser Show System

By Joanna Walsh

Having a night presentation and event requires you to use lighting as much as possible. You have many options that you can choose when you are worried about the lighting of the stage for your presentation or event. If you want a good one, then you should consider having an RGB laser show system.

The said equipment is the one where you will be using lasers to shoot off beams that will make the venue more concert-like. The stage will be adorned with different colored lights. The audience will feel more excitement as well. If you plan to use this lighting to make the event successful, then here are the factors to take note of.

First, you have to be aware of the beam direction. The said equipment will usually be positioned in front of your audience so that the beams are aimed over their heads. You have to pick the right position where they can produce the best lighting that you need to achieve the special effect you require in the stage.

You will also have to be aware of the graphics screen you are going to use on the stage. For the graphics screen, the rear-projection is obviously preferred over the front-projection. You will achieve a more magical effect since the audience does not see the beams creating the graphics you want to let them see.

Be aware of the proper equipment positioning. There are many other equipment that you have to use in the said event so you have to know exactly how they should be positioned. You have to know more about the lasers, its direct-feed projectors, and scanners to help create one projector unit. Position the equipment properly.

Control set up time and positioning. Having control over the positioning and the set-up time of this equipment is definitely a good thing for you. It will be easier for the person to decide on the graphics as well as what would happen when he or she has full control of the set up time or positioning of the said equipment.

Know what the safety regulations are regarding the use of the projectors and other equipment. There are surely recognized safety requirements that must be met when you are using the said equipment. Not only that, there are also government laws and federal laws that you have to pay close attention to.

Ceiling heights. The ceiling heights are the lateral space and height between the audience and the said equipment. You have to take note of how much space you should put in between these two so that there is more space. As long as you remember the right amount of space to follow, it should be okay.

Pay attention to any reflective surfaces in the venue. When there are reflective surfaces such as chandeliers and mirror strips in the venue, make sure that the beams does not bounce off into the audience area. If this is the case, then you have to mas the beams to avoid stray reflections. The audience might be harmed if you do not take this safety precaution for them seriously.
