Then you can get the alcohol and then repeat the same process done with the other disinfectant. Alcohol can kill bacteria and germs due to saliva in the mouthpiece. You can now begin with the sterilization. Get the cup of hot water. Be very careful. Then soak the soap and mix in. Then immediately soak the mouthpiece. Do this for twenty minutes maximum or fifteen minutes minimum. You may also take it out as soon as the water starts to cool a bit.

After all the pouring, wiping, and soaking, you can take it out and then wipe it again. This time with another unused clean and dry cloth. You have to make sure that you also clean the other parts or the body of the woodwind to make sure that you are safe while playing it.

Aside from hygiene, it is important to clean your woodwind because it can be easily destroyed. It may sound awful if there are so many dirt in it and all around it. So make sure that you take care of both your health and your precious instrument.
