Make Lasting Memories With Dolphin Tours Seagrove

By Eric Evans

The Seagrove, FL area is chock full of fun thing to do for just about any interest or hobby you may have. Though there are plenty of indoor activities to be found, the city's close proximity to the sea means you will have lots of water activities to choose from as well. This includes Dolphin Tours Seagrove that are fun and easy to book.

Depending on the size of your group, you can book a variety of different cruises. Larger boats can hold several smaller or one large group, plus any singles in case there are people who do not have a partner to come with them. This gives you a chance to meet other people and have fun before you reach the dolphins. Of course, if you want an extra special cruise, you can always book a private tour where you and your group are the only ones on the boat.

One of the big choices you have to make besides whether to take a private or public tour is day or night excursions. The daytime ones can leave early in the morning or later in the day to accommodate your needs. Most fall between two and four hours in length, which lets you enjoy the sites at a leisurely pace.

Evening tours may also last from two to four hours, depending on how late in the day they take off. Most of these are timed to coincide with the sunset, so you get to enjoy the sun setting over the water, which creates a colorful glow that looks like something out of a postcard. Some people take these with their partner for a romantic time, while others just go as a group to enjoy the scenery and dolphins.

Many people opt to take a tour where you wear regular clothes and stay high and dry on the boat. But if you want a little more action and memories, then sign up for a snorkeling tour instead. This allows you to dive into the water and interact directly with the dolphins instead of watching them from onboard.

The company you signed up with will be happy to provide you with a fully cleaned and sanitized snorkel to use. If you have your own equipment though, then feel free to bring that instead. A sunscreen and towel is also recommended, along with sunglasses to protect your eyes from glare.

You may get refreshments on the boat, which usually consists of drinks to stay hydrated in the hot Florida sun. Bottled water and juices may be available. If this is an adult cruise, then alcoholic beverages may be served.

Despite the fact that some refreshments may be provided, you may want to bring some of your own, which is perfectly acceptable. In fact, you can bring snacks with you in case you get hungry, especially if you are snorkeling. In addition, an underwater camera for snorkeling or a regular camera for boat picture is also recommended in order to have a photographic memory of your big day, which you will include lots of photo opportunities.
