Get The Cross DVD And Enjoy The Must Watch Movie

By Cornelia Reyes

There are movies being released every week for the entertainment of the masses, so what exactly sets a good movie apart from all other movies. Representation of the theme and how realistic the movie is can make a big difference. At times flight of fancy may be a good thing but realistic movies are sure to be a great watch. Finding The Cross DVD may be a little difficult but the movie is a must watch for people from all religious backgrounds. The movie is in fact a documentary on one mans spiritual awakening and his spiritual journey over many years and many miles. This is why this movie can be a great addition to your collection.

More and more people today want to watch movies only if there is any big names involved in the production of the movie or in the cast. But this documentary is far from star studded commercial films. There is no big name playing the role of the protagonist. There is no big production house producing the movie. There is not hot shot director directing the movie. In all many may think that the documentary is a failure. But the documentary is far from that. Even without the force of big names, the movie has such a gripping story that people are bound to watch it again and again. It plays with the sentiment of every ordinary man.

The movie is also the directorial debut of Matthew Crouch. Before directing this movie, Matthew Crouch had been responsible for producing movies like The Omega Code and One Night with the King. Making a Documentary his directorial debut was a brave step for Crouch.

As far as documentaries are concern, this one has a decent runtime. Most documentaries can be short enough to be produced as short films or long enough to be shown in installments. The 90 minute run time of the movie ensures that the audience is not bored by the movie in any way. All to often movies run into a long boring dribble that people do not want to see.

If you are tired of watching hyped commercial films with unrealistic storylines then this is the movie for you. The movie is definitely a true story. The way in which Crouch captures the story also makes it more realistic and gripping.

If you want a movie where you can connect with the protagonist then this is a good movie. The protagonist is an everyday man who chooses his path towards spiritual awakening. In the process a brilliant tale is created.

There was the initial question of religious connotations. But the point of the movies is far from religious. The theme of the movie is spiritual instead of religious. Carrying the crucifix gave Arthur Blessitt a purpose in life but unlike religious enthusiasts his purpose was not to spread a religious message. The message he spread was entirely spiritual.

Arthur Blessitt created a place for himself if the Guinness Book of World Record for having carried the crucifix for forty years and across 38,102 miles. This showed his dedication to his cause and purpose. This is what makes The Cross DVD a must have when it comes to having a film collection.
