Being a writer is a lifelong dream that you've wanted to achieve, there is no greater joy to you than to finally see your works be published for the rest of the world to read. Of course, you're going to have to start somewhere. This is not a mean feat too. But you have to learn what are the things you're supposed to do to get your goals duly achieved.

What you're hoping to write is a book that would be interesting enough for you to write about. You're particularly intent on creating a counter terrorism fiction novel it sounds intense, interesting and writing about it seems to be genuinely fun. Of course, you just have to see to it that you are doing things write. Here are some of the pointers you might use for this purpose.

Decide on the kind of story you what to focus on. There are all kind of genres that writers can choose to focus on when they want to start pursuing their passion. This time, you want to make sure that what you want to write about is something that you're genuinely interested in. Unless you're passionate about it. Sure, you are writing a fiction story this time around but this does not mean you should just go ahead and blabber on without even considering certain concepts that should be parallel to how things are in real life.

Remember that when it comes to writing these pieces, it is always in starting things up that you may have the must challenge with. Once you get through the hurdle of the first line, then the rest of the story should go along smoothly. Start the story with something that is interesting and striking so the reader would not want to put the book down.

Always keep a note wherever you go. What you want to do this time is make sure that you have a notebook and a pen around you wherever you go, even when you go to bed, brilliant ideas tend to strike at the oddest hours, you want to have something to write them on whenever they strike. This us important since many of these ideas can be truly fleeting.

Only write when inspiration strikes. Unlike other careers there is no set time when you can write or when you feel like writing. It cannot be pigeonholed into specific times and hours of the day. So, always be ready to get some typing done whenever you feel like doing so.
