After the paintwork has been cleaned the car, it needs to be polished. This happens so that any scratches, swirl marks, hazing and oxidation are removed. This is done through the use of a dual action polishing machine or rotary action. This will allow polishing products to be thoroughly worked into surfaces and broken down. The polishing is also able to be done by hand.
