Sonic The Hedgehog's Companions

By Franklin Jenken

Sonic has had many activities and dangerous near misses. He did not do everything by himself. He had help from some of his closest thing friends. They are willing to help when the time comes.

So who are his buddies? Let's take a look.

Miles "Tails" Prower

Tails is Sonic the Hedgehog's first and finest friend. Not just that, he also is actually Sonic's sidekick. When the blue hero is in a pinch, Tails is definitely there to help him out. His best ability is to fly using his twin tails.

Not just that, he is able to pick up his friends and pull them up high in the sky. Personality wise he is pretty much a wimp. He seeks the approval of everyone around him, but when you need his help, Tails will have your back.

In earlier Sonic games you can use Tails throughout all of the boss fights and keep Sonic at a save range. Of course this strategy only succeeds if 2 players tend to be playing the video game. Tails has limitless lives, therefore he can take all the strikes.

Amy

Amy is also called Rosy the Rascal. She is the pink self appointed girlfriend of Sonic. Amy always tries to win over his heart. She's always pleasant and very funny. The lady also really likes ice cream.

For a small girl she certainly is strong. Just look at the woman's weapon, a big hammer. She uses it with skill plus she has clobbered plenty of opponents with it.

Knuckles who can fly

Sonic's rival as well as good friend is Knuckles. He is the red echidna who's very powerful. He is able to break walls with his punches. He can do the same moves as Sonic, although not as well as the Hedgehog. He is very envious of Sonic and his way of life.

Amy, Tails, and Knuckles tend to be Sonic's closest friends. However, there are a handful of others which are also good friends of Sonic. Their names are Big the cat and E-102 Gamma.

Sonic needs all the support he can get coming from his friends, due to the fact his adventures could get very dangerous. His friends have his back and in the Three dimensional games they even work as a team.
