Looking For Piano Lessons In Montreal?

By Lee Gellantly

With most music lessons, the student goes to the teacher once per week, has the lesson, is given homework, and then sent off on their own to figure things out for themselves - the piano teacher, most of the time, does not play a larger role outside of lessons.

However, some teachers give more value to their students, and continue to keep track of their students' progress during the week.

Gellatly uses online software specifically designed for her piano students, in which her students can keep logs of their practice times, what scales they practiced, what pieces they worked on, theory studied, and how many days per week they sat at the piano to play. The result is HUGE accountability, on both the teacher and the piano student.
