A Brief Review Of Disney Magic Show Houston

Walt Disney has been a well known and respected name in American animation for quite some time. A new Disney performance celebrates his well known characters and creativity who have been part of the Disney family. This production, a Disney Magic show Houston brings Mickey, Minnie and pals to the stage, complete with amazing stunts, magic and theater.

From the moment the characters are introduced to the stage one by one, to the end of the performance, adults and children will be entertained. Modeled after Disney on Ice and other similar productions, it is a production that will most likely be popular with all ages. Also, being in a city known for NASA and Space exploration in which the only amusement park was torn down a few years ago, having a show like this is a real treat for Houston and surrounding areas.

The focus in many past Disney films and productions has often been on the characters and personality traits shown in different skits. Houston, it is not only the characters but also the many different magic tricks and routines performed throughout the program which make this a one of a kind experience. To help keep the audience's eyes on stage, video clips of early cartoons, movies and productions play in the background.

At one point, people can see Cinderella go from rags to riches in an instant. Clips and stunts for the animated feature Fantasia are also a big part of the show. One of the best and most interesting of these magic routines is that levitating Jasmine. Beyond the magic, the Mad Hatter, Donald Duck, Goofy and others also make brief appearances. In addition to the many recognizable characters, there are also a number of actors, singers, dancers and stunt people involved in the production who also deserve credit.

The Disney theme and characters are easily recognizable by those who are familiar with the company and its productions. Capturing the spirit of animated films and bringing the characters to stage is not an easy task. Though for Disney, it is a successful one. While successful, it has already toured the world and wowed audiences of every age, so where it goes form here, no one knows.

One of the most successful productions to have ever toured the World Houston, if living in, or visiting the area, this may be a performance to see. The choreographers, recognizing the short attention span of children, took special note to keep some scenes quite short, while allowing for some adult oriented humor in others. All in all, the choreographers carefully incorporated material appropriate for all ages into this magical production.

Those familiar with the characters from the earliest days may notice a few changes in the characters and character traits. The oldest of which has gone through many renditions over the years is that of Mickey Mouse. Minnie and other pals also offer amazing performances whether in original form, or having been updated.
