Analysts See Resolve In Android Upon Apple Conquering Samsung

By Dean Prater

The recently decided legal patent conflict between Samsung and Apple has been generating a lot of drama, particularly given the verdict has come at a time when Apple ready to release the iPhone 5 shortly. A lot of people may consider writing Android off saying that this verdict represents the decline of Android (and Google) and the foundation of world supremacy of Apple.

Conversely, you don't have anything to worry about if you are a studying developer, enrolled in an Android class. Techies believe that this is a insignificant stumbling block for Android (although Samsung may be affected a little more than they are showing. They are of the view that Android's progress will definitely continue in the coming days and will not be slowed down for quite some time.

Gene Munster, an analyst with Piper Jaffray, believes that Samsung will also be secure in the long-run. He wrote that Samsung is perhaps the only rival who is talented enough to give Apple any sort of competition. He goes on to say that the Galaxy SIII proved that Samsung is indeed on its way to bear out that there are smart phones that can grapple with the iPhone in superiority, features, pricing and incorporation of hottest technologies.

He also said that this court judgment is just a temporary cloud and Apple will also consider it a trifling victory in its battle against Android (largely Samsung).

In his article, he emphasized the fact that we should not consider Android as a product of Samsung solely, although it is the only device that is making competitive Android handsets. He said that Android as an operating system has progressed remarkably right from the moment it was launched and it will continue to do so for the reason it is an open source application.
