What Does The Path To Salvation Mean For Mankind?

By Lelia Hall

God expects us as human to live a life free of sin and worship him diligently. Most persons often opt to seek for satisfaction from worldly pleasures rather than from living according to God's will. After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, a path to salvation had to be made for man to get us back closer to God.

He says that men have to receive salvation and be born again to enter heaven. It is for this reason that Christ said that whoever desires to enter heaven had to pass through him first. In a conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus told him that he had to born again so as to enter the kingdom of God. Deliverance gives us the opportunity to make amends with God through Jesus.

Accepting Jesus Christ entails recognizing that you have sinned and that you are ready to lay it all to follow Jesus. All men on earth are born sinners since we have fallen short of his glory. As a result, Jesus was sent to be an advocate for us to help us face the throne of God.

Living a sinful life that glorifies our sinful nature leads us to condemnation of death. Sin is a separator that creates a barrier between us and God making us destined for hell. However, if we accept Jesus into our lives, we are destined to eternal life. The Bible adds to this hope since it tells us how Jesus was sacrificed as the only Son of God to die for our sins.

The Bible clearly spells out how God gave his only son to save mankind from the burden of sin that over weighed man. Before the coming of Jesus, humans used to offer animal blood to atone for their sins. But that changed when Jesus carried our sins on the cross and was crucified for our sake. His death and the blood he shed was for the restoration of the broken relationship man had with God.

Deliverance is a testimony of the love God has for us. It is the best way for the man to be liberated from the bondage of sin. It is not easy to understand how God operates; nonetheless, we cannot compare the love he has for us with anything on the earth. Deliverance also gives us hope when we are troubled. The faithless get the faith back, and the broken relationships are restored.

Paul, one of the best apostles of all time, serves us a great example of how salvation works wonders. When Paul repented, the received Jesus and he rose to become a great missionary and preacher who never gave up in spreading the word of God. After resurrecting, Jesus told his disciples to take charge of preaching the gospel to every corner of the world.

In conclusion, deliverance cannot take place without cleansing with the blood of Jesus. It creates a new relationship between mankind and God and gives us a leeway to communicate with God. But the first step to always achieving salvation is by accepting your sinful nature and repenting.
