This is the easiest part and anyone can do this. There is a process below and all you have to do is follow them. So you will not be electrocuted. It can be done in a few minutes. Just make sure that it fits perfectly and you will not do anything that will mess it up. Some people does like to replace them all the time.

That is why they choose to buy something that is of good quality. Having a good one will refrain them from buying always and keep changing. Replacement hard drive can only last for several minutes to do it. But ensure that they are not working anymore. Check if it is time to change for a new one.

Take a look at these important steps below. You will be guided and the replacement will become successful. Turn on the PC to double check that the disk does not work before you begin. Check the type and model of the old before you go to the store. Write it down and present it to the saleslady. And say if they have something that is reliable and can be used for many years. Best you purchase the latest.

Before you take out it out, you need to back all your files. And save them in another drive. You should have other device where you could save them. To make sure that they can still be recover. Especially those files that are very important to you. Once you take it out, it will be deleted.

Turn off the PC after. This is very important. Better be safe than sorry. Do not be a hero and just follow these steps. Taking precautionary measures must be observed to avoid accident. Unplug all the wire that is connected to the computer. And never touch anything after you shut it down. You do this for your safety.

Open the case of the computer. Do not dismantle your monitor. You should focus on the central processing unit or CPU. And be ready with your screw drivers. You would be needing them. Because some of them uses screw that you need to unscrew. If there is a door, then remove it when you can.

Then once it is open, you can locate the old one that you need to change. Just be careful and no need to rush in getting them out. So you will not create a mess and damage to other parts that are found inside. Most of them are screwed in their location. This should not be a problem if you have the tools to do it.

Once finished taking all the screw, you can now takes out the old one. Hold them with your hand and support your hand at the bottom. Make sure not to touch the surface. Placed them on the side. And get ready with the new one to put inside. Get the jumpers. You could use it when installing the new purchase.

Place the new one and do procedures above. Check if you did not missed anything. Turn on the PC and see if how it works. And the software you have before is still there. If not, install them again.
