You can now use folders on the iOS iPad. To do this, press and hold on an app for a while, and it will start to jiggle. Then, drag the app over the top of a different icon and release. This will create a folder that holds both apps with a name that describes the category the apps fall under. You can rename the folder whatever you want.

Those iPad apps can be addictive, so keep a tally of how many you purchase. When you have this device, it can be easy to pay a lot of money, just because it stores your payment details and you can easily click to buy. You should monitor the spending and limit the time to a strict deadline.

To you find it annoying when your iPad asks if you want to join a detected wifi network? This feature can be turned off if you go to the settings. You can easily turn this off in the Wi-Fi settings.

You can access your Google Calendar in the Calendar app on the iPad by choosing, "Mail," "Contacts," and "Calendars" under the Settings menu. You will see an option that lets you Add An Account. Tap the Other option that comes up. Hit Add CalDAv Account and punch in all of your Google information. You can then exit the settings and access the calender through the app. All that you need should be right there.

Set a password to keep your information private. This will erase everything on your phone if someone has not figured out the code after 10 tries.

If you want to sync your Google and iPad calendars, go to Mail, Contact then Calendars. Select Add An Account. When prompted for the type, choose Other. Hit Add CalDAv Account and punch in all of your Google information. Then, back out of your settings app and single-tap your calendar app. This will get you the desired result that you are looking for.

Does the battery indicator on your iPad distract you? If, so you can turn it off. Begin by entering the menu for your Settings. Then find General and next go to Usage. Access the Usage menu and turn off the display for battery percentage.

Considering your iPad is quite a big investment, you must care for it properly. Screen protectors are often used on iPads. These are basically thin pieces of plastic that give your iPad's screen protection. When cleaning an iPad screen. try using a very soft cloth that is barely dampened with water. Never use window cleaners or other types of household cleaners on your iPad.

The iPad has a clipboard for copying and pasting, just like a full-size computer. Tap on the section of text that you want to reproduce and choose the select function. Tap once again, and you'll see that the text is highlighted. Choose copy after this. To paste the text, tap the screen, holding your finger down until option to paste appears. Tap on 'paste' and your text should appear!

The iPad is capable of unimaginable things. Any one of any age can enjoy it. Make sure you know the right way to care for it. You might just be shocked about how many advantages this piece of technology offers you.
